For some reason Crosman sells the 6rd rotary clips for BB's and 10rd for pellets. Why is it that 6rd are now for BB's when the " first "( lots of missing info ) or " only " smoothbore bb specific version came with a 10rd which does make more sense for bb's.

Crosman. My buddy had a pump up that was pellet/ bb with rifled barrel.. Maybe crosman bb's are softer the other brands and they feel it all good?My old 38t is pellet only as far as I remember or know. P.s...Maybe ueses them all lead B.B's. Like these?https://www.gamo.com/en/product/round-pellet/P.s ...p.s..Read under "BB's" last paragraph.. lolhttps://discover.crosman.com/blog/airgun-ammunition
Good deal on the find...I just had to dig my 38c out ( I was wrong calling it the "t". The t had a longer barrel). To see how many shots it was being so long since I shot it .It's 6 round and did not come with a 10 extra. ( Or mine did not)That's a Kool looking kit. I never see it before( wish I had at the time😁)
You'd think only difference would be black or gray of the same model and kit? They both day model 4257 on the boxes.Did crosman have a manual archive on them to look at?
Looks good to me. The only issue I had with my 38c was just dealing with CO2 cartridge. One did not seat right and blew the seal at the pr ick pin. Now in a rebuild kit they use a improved/updated one in the parts.

Am I correct in assuming that the different capacity clips will work in all the different variants of the 357? I was given one that is probably less than ten years old. It has the 7” poly barrel and black grips. I’m deliberating about ordering some clips but wasn’t sure what would fit.
