Bob, looking good there! Best wishes in chasing down the Master division.
Wow, hitting a can at 100 yds sounds so satisfying!

Dead calm this evening, might've made it if I didn't run out of magic pellets 1-1/8" ctc.Quote from: splitbeing Wow, hitting a can at 100 yds sounds so satisfying!Prior to this year, mostly all I ever shot was .177 and mostly SSPs and MSPs. 100 yards was pretty much dreamland. Then I got a .177 PCP and a hand pump. Then I couldn't pass up a .22 Avenger refurb... about 10 types of .22 pellets later... new obsession, lol. Even when the shots aren't grouping, the tin cans make it fun.
Been stretching the hatsan25 out to 50 yardSeems a hold issue on eleavation ? First i got 3 in luckly then went back and tried plugging a few more in it and got i think 2 more. lol. Lots of need for improvment..Hat 25 sc, opensight , 50y, crosman airpower .177 hp's, 2-1/2" bulleye

I'm thinking that looks real good given it's a pistol and the range of 50 YARDS!!! 👍👍Quote from: DIYengineer235 on July 02, 2022, 03:59:11 PMTook my beeman Sportsman out for a little test run today. Went to a PB range yesterday & after everyone was gone, I pulled the. 25cal pcp. I shot a target someone left behind but I aimed at the mini silhouette on the top left. 100 yards it did better that alot PB's there lol.

Targets is targets… but if you really want to challenge yourself : shoot/don’t shoot targets are the most stressful/challenging. Especially from the holster or long range. Even better are pop-ups or I’ve done the video ones too. It’s hard not to shoot a pop-up of Paul Newman with a soda can pointed at you.
Decided to try different pellets in my Beeman Sportsman to see if I could improve the accuracy.I laid out every .177 pellet I got on a sheet. You can see the results below. Conditions were hot and hunid at 91F but no wind. Range was 25m. On the sheet, instead of velocity, I put the number of hits counted. The Gamo Match Wad Cutters seem to be the best, followed by the Gamo Tomahawks. But the Gamo Match missed 3, going under the target sheet, so I think the Tomahawks win.
