After a 2 day dilemma of my cell carrier trying to switch over my new phone, I now have a working phone, my old one was so old it would shut down on them while trying to transfer data, so I had to add my contacts manually. Right after that I added GTA and my hunting and ballistic apps, I avoided the temptation to try all the other cool apps Might be posting more pictures and videos now
Polished the barrel on my HW35E. This gun was scary accurate when I got it, slightly less so for the last few months.
Rick67~It's shooting better after I cleaned & lightly polished the barrel. Here's a target with shots #6-11. I still have a muzzle weight to try, and I might try bedding the action. Pellets are QYS Training.
Worked on my Crosman 760A receiver. Removed all the burs and casting lines for a nice smooth blend. Also bent it back where the safety button is. Someone took it apart and pried it open at that spot and bent it in the process, was a big gap. Also got some paint for it. Flat black for the barrel and satin black for receiver (they didn't have semi gloss) and pump tube.
My Buck Rail 13XX scope intermount came today. I wrapped some 400 grit sandpaper around a barrel and proceeded to sand the contour of the mount clamp to fit the larger barrel of a Crosman 1400. After about twenty minutes of careful sanding and trial fitting I assembled the modified mounts on the barrel. I clamped on a 2-7X32 Winchester scope on a UTG one piece mount and tightened it all up. It looks good and feels really solid. I might add a little Cyanoacrylate glue if it exhibits any tendency to move.
