Pan fried halibut with a lemon capers sauce. Served mine over Jasmine rice. Sided with a salad.

I love cantaloupe, but haven't gotten a really good one yet. Watermelon either. However, my last batch of peaches and my current pineapple is really sweet and good!Man that sounds great! I had fried catfish earlier, then later a couple yummy peaches and half of a cantelope the best I've tasted in years! Tonight will be grilled chicken wings with unknown seasoning from the deli but it looks really good.

I was volunteering loading/unloading truck at the food bank. The manager asked me to take out some trash. There was a box with packages of frozen wild boar sausage, rabbit sausage, linguica sausage. Packages were in perfect condition and still frozen. Food bank clients just don't eat interesting food so it gets thrown out unless I spot it first. Also I scored some thin sliced steak, ham steaks mislabeled as pork chops, hamburger, chicken thighs and some amazing looking ribeyes. They were partially thawed so into the trash they go. My dog and cats will love the steak, ham, chicken and hamburger. The ribeyes are for me and I'm thinking omelets with linguica sausage this weekend. It's amazing how much great food gets thrown away. It's sad that most of the clients are not very adventurous with their food.
