I just wanted to throw this out there
myself and WHITEFANG, have been playing around with these triggers trying to improve the long creepy unpredictable trigger pull, WF did a slight mod to my trigger blade to shorten the sear engagement along with his, then we tried making some mods to the leaf spring that adjusts the tension on the pull weight, WF made his trigger good enough for him and he really like his set up, mine on the other hand worked but was very light and I wanted to get just a tic more pressure and I wanted a little more take up, so while in the process of making adjustments to the leaf spring to get the feel on the trigger I was trying to find I broke it
after a few days of thinking about either buying a new leaf spring and possibly a trigger blade? I thought about how I could possibly find some other way to make my own spring that would suit what I was trying to do, because the factory leaf springs are to flimsy and brittle and break to easy! replacement springs are only warranted for 2yrs! that tells me these are prone to breakage under normal use? I intended to use a piece of spring steel wire that was stronger and more flexible, but I had another idea! I looked at a piece of stainless radiator hose clamp steel, its stronger and more flexible
it works like a charm!!!! after shaping it and fitting it and adjusting it gave me a trigger that has a short first stage pull and stops like a 2 stage and has a very clean light break!!!! the 2 stage feel is what I was after and I achieved it with this mod

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?
Any pics of the process or the finished piece?

I'm a peaceful man and prefer the pursuit of peaceful sports. Those involving teams and balls of any sort tend to be deleterious to one's body and promote violence by both spectators and participants. The shooting sports, however, tend to promote self control and are peaceably participated in by those who know that their greatest challenge is their need to continually hone their own abilities.

Interesting. I would have thought that the trigger would be the same as my Late 70s Slavia 630, which I have adjusted to just under a pound with near zero creep. Great for accurate shooting. I just make sure that I don't click off the safety till on target.
The 630 requires being removed from stock to adjust though.

Sorry no pix, this was a very simple up grade that anyone can do! The 634 I have is a newer version with the synthetic B/B stock, the trigger was very long and stagy out of the box, with no real feel for when it was going to break, I am use to the Rekord or other match grade type triggers that are adjustable! I have very good gunsmithing skills! I have tinkered with triggers and other mods to AG's and PB's my whole life so I kinda know how things work and know how to make things work better! This trigger mod I and OC did has made a trigger that is 100% better as u can make a trigger like this for its limitations,
