Sumatra .25 carbine and wild hogs

I'm new here and have a Question. I have a .25 Sumatra carbine and wanted to know if it's ethical to hunt hogs with it?  My feeder is 40 yards from tree stand.

If you are producing at least 60 fpe, yes.

I shoot a 34.7 gr @ 950 fps = over 70 fpe.

Since you posted in Manny's Corner, I'm sure he'll chime in sooner or later. But, I do believe he's killed more than few hogs with Sumatra carbine.

Been shooting kodiaks 31 grains. First shot 1000 fps.
