I shot this group on 6-5-17 with my FX Boss. Shot it benchrested and bag to the rear so the rifle is held to my shoulder. Scored a 50 and a CTC group of 1.247". Was hoping to qualify for master in NUAH, but will have to keep trying Made a video of when I was shooting and it is posted here. Scan of the target and picture of measurement are below
Nice target Steve! The things we do for ideal shooting conditions.
Great target Steve. We're getting some really good scores this match. You have everything you need to get into the NUAH Club. Just copy and paste the info in a thread over in the Long Range Club gate and I'll add you to the list. Looks like you qualify as an Expert. Congrats.
Wow Steve, great shooting, terrific set up, and gorgeous rifle. I also like the early morning or late evening. The wind really plays with my mind. I went out last evening at 8:15 and shot a 1.187 CTC group. One pellet had a mind all its own. I know it wasn't me , Congratulations on your success. Once you reach this level it is oh so hard to shrink those groups, everything must come together and also a bit of luck, at least for me.
Guys. don't be afraid to post your target if it's not 50/50.... My first target last month was only 41/50.... but I'm still proud of being able to shoot that with an airgun at 100 yards.... Just think of where airguns were a decade ago !!!Bob
Good shooting Marty!
I got a chance to take out my Hatsan AT-44 S10 Long today, tuned to shoot the 34.2 gr. JSB Heavies at 960 fps (70 FPE).... I spent quite a bit of time dialing in the Air Stripper, and I can now tell you that they certainly do affect the group size, changing it from 3" down to about 1.5"Bob
David and Marty, Nice shooting!!!Quote from: rsterne on June 12, 2017, 03:41:14 PMGuys. don't be afraid to post your target if it's not 50/50.... In comparison to centerfire rifles, we're sending a mere spec of lead down range. At 100 yards it doesn't take much for things to go awry Steve
Ed... nice shooting. If the pellet using a gauge or you best guesstimation isn't breaking the line on the bull it would qualify as an X.
Good shooting everyone. Looks like I'm going to miss this round. My compressor went down and I'm low on air.
