@2nd RCHA:How do you take a squirrel with a 3.9FPE gun? At any range (even the gun against the squirrel) that is less than minimal clean kill power.I am curious.
It's called shot placement and ammo selection. Heck, I've even taken Squirrels with my Beeman P17 loaded with Skenco Black Max match rounds, The Daisy will easily send one of those rounds, as well as the type 1's, through a soup can at 10 meters, at the same distance using a lead round will only cause a dent,,So, If the gun is accurate enough to place a pellet in the "kill-zone", that's where ammo selection really comes into play, your choice could make the difference between a good humane, clean kill, and one that will only leave the animal in pain, and thus requiring you to make more shots to finish the job.
