i had ordered a tin of 500 rws superdomes 3 weeks ago and noticed they would not fit in my crosman Fire NP unless i pushed with a seater.. the crosmans were super lose in comparison.
i had to bore the breach lightly to use them without seater.. went a lil far on width but they fit inside now.
i just got H&N field target trophy for my .177 with head 4.51 at filedsupply and they arent as big of skirt as they fall in deeper than the rws
try the rws superdome as they have a wide skirt.. but semi soft... H&N seems harder lead.

please shoot responsibly! don't shoot papaya fruit with a crosman 760 and pellets like i did when i was 11.. back in 1986
they get stuck inside and they don't make a good sound in blender according to grandma her cousin said the papaya had hard seeds and she never seen that but tasted great!
may they rest in peace!

JSB very arguably makes the best pellet gun ammo for .22-.357... essentially bar none. Their American distributer Predator International does everything they can to send the ammo out in exceptional condition, however certain vendors (lets just be honest and say websites that don't primarily deal with guns) have been known to cut corners in shipping and handling. On top of that, how can any vendor ensure FedEx won't accidentally mishandle their goods? Impossible
I have no less than 25 types of pellet sitting around, and I honest to God don't shoot any besides JSB and Crosman simply because everything else either shoots like dog mess in my particular barrels, or simply aren't up to par with JSB's accuracy, Predator's poly/metalmag rapid distribution of energy+penetration, or Crosman's affordability and general good consistency.
I emphasize this is my personal experience as to not sound like I'm knocking all the other manufacturers. For instance, I highly respect H&N for always looking to innovate and have learned not to put down wadcutters just because I don't shoot short distances. Case and point, there's NO WAY that I'm not gonna stand up for JSB/Predator Intl. when I generally love their products, and all my interactions with them have been absolutely stellar. Dick Dixon is one of us in my book and many others on this site.
