Magman, I am finding that the NP guns tend to like the heavier stuff. Remember, velocity isn't everything. My Trail NP loves the 18.1 JSB. They shoot in the 700 range.
What gives? The JSBs seemed well made with no visible imperfections. I don't understand how the JSBs could chrono so low for such a light pellet.-Chris
I just got the JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo RS .22 Cal, 13.43 Grains, Domed pellets. Ordered 2 tins for my Trail NP .22 HW.I figured I wanted to try a lighter pellet to see the velocity of the Trail NP. What a total disappointment!! I shot 10 through my chrony. average fps was 641.7fps!!! The H&N Field Target Trophy .22 Cal, 14.66 Grains, Round Nose, 5.53mm pellets average 733.9fps in my trail. What gives? The JSBs seemed well made with no visible imperfections. I don't understand how the JSBs could chrono so low for such a light pellet.I feel I now have two tins of these and they are completely worthless for me to shoot from my Trail NP. Big waste of my money. Should have just bought more H&N Match pellets.-Chris
Does the whole line of these Czech pellets have ragged skirts. lots of crimped skirts, loose fit, wide speed spread and slow?
