Hatsan .35 BT65 Bolt stuck in the closed position

Hello everyone. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction in trying to get my Carnivore functioning again. I went to cock it and the bolt would not come back. I've had the stock off several times to turn the power up but that's about it. Once before, the bolt got stuck in the back position, and with the advice of a friend, I took the stock off and found the problem. However, I have the stock off now and can't begin to see what's wrong. The clip is in with five pellets loaded and it doesn't look like that's the problem. All pellets seem to be flush. Trying to find a good video on what to do and how to improve it so this won't happen again. Thanks

You might try backing the preload off(counterclockwise) 1 turn after looseing it's set screw and reset it when your done. When the preload screw is out of threads and just resting on the back of the spring it may interfere with cocking?

Thank you Flyonwall. I tried that but it didn't work unfortunately. I appreciate it though.

You may have engaged the anti-double pellet feed. Lock the magazine retaining pin forward and try to pull the bolt back enough to get the magazine out. It should be underneath it. Move it around till you can get the bolt into the locked back position. You move the bolt back enough without cocking and I believe the anti-double feed engages. I insert a magazine and fire one pellet or just barely have the bolt probe clear the magazine back and then go forward on an empty cylinder;it then cycles and inserts a pellet next time you cock it.
Actually when I had trouble with the preload adjuster it was probably when I put in an extra long adjuster hex screw; it didn't do much more if at all powerwise.

Look at the little plate around the bolt cocking handle.
Mine blew off but it could have stripped the front screw and allowed that plate to pivot stopping the cocking action.
I doubt that is your issue but one never knows.
