Good idea Jeff! Chet-In case you don't know where the screw is located-it's difficult to see. Look down inside the U shaped hollow at the rear of the trigger. It's at the bottom there. You'll need to remove the stock or at least the trigger guard to be able to easily get to it. If the rifle is indeed cocked, turning in a longer screw should get it to fire. Since at this point that's the purpose of the longer screw it could even be a 12mm or 14mm length. Mine has one just a bit longer than stock to improve the trigger but I know longer remember the length. I just got mine at the local hardware store. Good luck and keep us updated.Welcome aboard!Ed
