Thing of beauty, even if it is an under lever. Accurate too...A few years ago I contacted Nikon about whether they would consider some sort of range finding reticle for their EFR. Their response was NEVER!Shame too because I think they could put a real hurt on Hawke and UTG if they did. How do you like the thumb hole stock? Is it your first thumb hole? Does it have a thumbs up trigger position? Can't see the other side.-Y
.......The Nikon scope has a very small dot in the middle of the crosshairs, I think if they would use those small dots as mildots, and sell these scopes for $175 or less, air gunners would buy them. I know I would.I really don't like guessing at hold over. Have gotten used to mil dots, and having a reference point really helps..........

Amen! The 1/2 Mil-dot reticle, with alternating mil-dots and tick marks, is simple, fast and highly effective. Apparently the average shooter wants something else? Bummer.Nice rig, the "97" is on the top of my list also...any idea which spring (wire size, OD/ID, etc...) and seal John used? IIRC, he leans towards Vortek products?
