I spend too much time deburring rough stampings in some of the cheaper air guns, for example, cocking slots. I re-purposed a couple of sanders I've found useless for much else. The sanders can usually be found cheap at yard sales etc..
Two or three sanders can be fitted with unique bits with only a piece of scrap metal & fitment time. I use 1/8" aircraft aluminum for my bits and they work much faster and more uniformly than a dremel/jeweler's file etc..
I will probably make some small round bits and a couple of curved ones. Not a lathe or mill but useful never the less.

Great idea, bet it makes quick work of the cocking slot.

I use a lot of these type of hones, in deburring/cleaning up around the shop etc,
chuck in a drill, 10-15 sec one direction and then reverse the direction for the same amount of time.
Check area and continue if needed, until I get the results I am looking for,
these hones come in numerous different sizes and grits etc,
well worth the time and trouble, IMHO.
