Man this gun is still so fun to shoot. My 50 yd shooting was really coming together today, lots of sub qaurters groups when I did my part. Liking the fft 4.52 but going to order some sniper mediums and exacts (whenever they become available again). Might have to look into replacing the scope, my eyes just seem to hate the hawke airmax. Too blurry looking at 50 yds.

Ordered some H&n sniper mediums and baracuda hunter extremes to play with. Seems the snipers get good reviews for this gun and just curious about the extremes. If they shoot well at 30 yds I'll use them for tree rat season
I am so content with my .177 HW97k, planning to buy a .22 version now as well.As I have the synthetic stock now, the .22 will come in the wood TH version. I simply like the hold of a TH stock (which I never would have expected to do so).My one takes the regular 4,52 JSB pellets and the Express version are good too. The JSB Heavies don't perform at all in my HW97k.But overall, the HW97k is very accurate and easy to shoot, so great choice !!!

I shoot all my rifles thumbs up whether they have that rest cut-out in the stock or not. Of course, I'd rather they did. Every time I stumble across a thread like this, I have to fight the urge to purchase a HW97. I know I will cave sooner or later, but I've deluded myself into thinking I don't need it because I have a HW95. Very different guns, I know, but that is how delusions work...

What did you have John do? Mine will probably head his way after squirrel season is over. I like the power level it's at but want the twang calmed down a little and probably a little trigger work. Probably going to order a setback trigger as well.
