When you enter a lane, do you prefer that the previous shooter leave the targets set up or would you prefer to pull the cord yourself and reset the targets?(Question assumes the previous shooter knocked down the targets with great skill and cunning.)Bob
... then I brought up politics, religion and which way you should hang the toilet paper roll. NOT REALLY. Just joking.I am droll and whatnot.Bob
And I'm of the opinion targets should be reset so it's one less thing to mess with when setting down to shoot a new lane. And I think my opinion carries weight since I have shot three matches so far. I guess I'm somewhat of an expert (self proclaimed, of course).
I guess I need to shoot with Ed in North Carolina.I don't mind idle chatter (it is a club match after all).I enjoy the friendly banter back & forth.Shooters tease me because of my age and I tease them because of...hmm..where do I begin?I don't and won't go to GP/National matches. It is field target after all.Originally designed to emulate and simulate hunting conditions in the off season. In that vain, we don't wait for the wind to stop blowing or for the rain to stop.If the wind is not blowing when you shoot, great.Ditto for the rain. The main concern I have is the airgun field target shooters who take an exorbitant amount of time, completely ignoring those who are shooting behind them. We had to deal with this issue in archery field target too.I suspect at the GP/Nationals it is worse as they are competing for a prize of some sort.I have had my say.I won't say anymore.
