The scope still works, but I noticed that it had little o-rings and I wonder without the o-rings there, I'm guessing it's susceptible to fogging up from moisture and stuff now?
I don't really care all that much about the IR, but if I glued the switch back on so that the seals were there would that fix it, or is it already screwed since there's moisture in there now?

I know nothing about the construction or sealing. I can tell you Center Point has a lifetime warranty.

Why take the chance, send it in for exchange. The inert gas inside the scope is somewhat like water, it will pour out and let moisture in.
Seal the moisture in and when the scope is subjected to extreme temperature changes, fog and droplets will condense on the inside lenses.

I can't exchange it for warranty because the objective bell was too large to fit with my mounts so I filed it down. I doubt they'd still exchange it after my "modification" anyway, but I suppose I could email them and ask. Not to mention I wouldn't be able to find my receipt for it it to save my own life...
