Just found info suggesting foward scope mount be left just loose enough to allow dissimilar metals (steel vs aluminum) to expand and contract seperately to avoid POI changes from extreme temp changes. But I digress.B
1. Get increasingly nevervous
Bob,Not that you really need much help, here's what I do before starting a match:1. Get increasingly nevervous2. Drool over the very cool PCP's that a lot of people have3. Start to sweat4. Take some shots at the practice range to confirm that my zero is on (which it never is)5. Try to re-zero the scope in an ever-increasing frenzy as the Ione winds swirl around the sight in range6. Freak out as the match director calls a halt to the sight in period, knowing that my zero is more off than when I started7. Start sweating more8. Finally, I go have fun shooting the match despite all of this!Good luck!
Now Jessica is trying to get her sister and BF to come. Now I've got to get one to two more guns ready... Hopefully someone won't mind taking one of them under their wing to shoot with them! I also ran into a gentleman at tractor supply today who was looking at pellet guns and was getting his son into shooting. After some chatting they are planning on coming to Ione on the 30th! Super excited!
