I had to do it, just couldn't live without it after shooting the Crosman 114. The .22 is $165 including tax and local pick-up. Only 4 left of .22 and 7 of .177. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Benjamin-Maximus-.22-Caliber-PCP-Air-Rifle-All-Weather-Stock/51989221
Gee they have the Maximus .22 hunter for only $283.45....a mere $63.46 above Crosman retail...only 2 left!
If it was a repeater I would have jumped on it. I almost have the funds to get my Urban.

Same here, even though it is a great deal for an entry-level gun, no doubt about that, I already have a boatload of single shot guns, I am now generally only interested in repeaters and the larger calibers.I have had that Urban in and out of my cart for weeks, lol. I don't 'need' it, but I know for $269, it will earn it's keep over the long haul. A perfect low-cost hunter for the teenagers to hunt with, worry-free, and simple to operate.Buuut, for a few dollars more, I can still get another $300 Hatsan AT44S-10 QE that will blow the doors off the Urban for power, modifiability, and upgradeability. I would likely buy another .25 Hatsan long before the .22 Gamo, if I were still in a buying mood, lol..Still, I keep looking at it, again, and again, hmmm... Chickie
I have a .22 SynRod with the TSS and MDS hammer. I love that gun..... as long as I'm shooting from a bench. But, I was born to wander. And I think the Urban was too.
