I seem to recall LOP should be measured from the crook of the elbow to the center of your trigger finger pad.Just measured mine and it was 15 1/2 inch.
I suppose it all boils down to whether you adapt to the gun, or adapt the gun to you. Unless your physique is really outside the norm, is it that big of a deal? How many countless thousands of soldiers never give a thought to LOP and simply shoot the weapon assigned to them? Likewise, how many 10 meter target shooters simply shot their Feinwerkbaus and Walthers without giving a second thought to LOP?I'm not saying you shouldn't modify your gun if you like; I'm just questioning how important LOP is in the grand scheme of things.
Don't most 10m target have adjustable LOP as well as combs & hand rests, etc ?
