Nice target idea, Neil! I think I'm going to make one up. The only thing I thought it might need is a plate behind the chalk opening to deflect the pellets downward. In one of your slow-motion segments, it looks like the pellet is angling upwards after hitting the chalk.Reactive targets are a lot of fun and that design is different from anything I've seen. gracklerblaster designed us a sidewalk chalk stand using 3/4 pvc and some tees. We start shooting the tops of the chalk off a little at a time.and continue on down until we are at the tee. If we shoot and bust the pvc we pull that section apart since it is not glued, just slip fit, and replace with a new tee. We may be shooting today, if so I will take some photos and upload them. No welding, drilling, just hacksaw to your preferred size and assembly and start having fun.
