Air Venturi Booster...don't do it!

So I bought the AV booster, against all the great reviews of the Altaros. Had some questions about the oiling, hydraulic oil? Well...it will only explode so go for it. Great! No explosion! yet. Open the bleeder valve and WOW! That was some blast of water! I call customer support 3 times, one email. 5 days later I get a message from a kid in tech, didn't answer any questions.
Lesson learned! Follow the reviews on here always! $700.00 mistake. If anyone wants to take a chance with this thing it will be on ebay very soon! An Altaros will then be heading my way. If for nothing else the Altaros comes with customer support!

how much water came out ? it is no real surprise that you got some water vapor when you opened the bleed valve.

I've watched videos on several different compressors and it's not un common to have air and water spray out of the bleed valve when opened especially where there is higher humidity in the air. I ordered a AV compressor and I'm not worried about it even tho I live in a pretty humid area and next to a lake. Filter.

Being that you are in Florida? I'd expect water from the bleed. More so then what I get in Ohio.
And I do get a bit with the AV compressor.
Part of what I'm doing is adding AC and a dehumidifier to the room I have the compressor in.
Then another water filter of some type on the high output side.

This is why I want to go with a booster fed by a pair of daisy chained tanks of dry air. I have a 100 cf and an 80 cf. Both aluminum 3300 psi. I can reg them at 90 - 120psi and use them all the way down to 500 feeding the booster. My ultimate goal is to boost a 4500psi ninja tank as a reservoir and fill my guns from that. I will start out with all three tanks full. This should greatly reduce trips to the Dive Shop some 40 miles away. I'm thinking the Altoros would be my best option. Dry air in, dry air out.

I did consider going the booster route. But I'd have had to buy a compressor so the price balanced out for me.
I also wanted an easy to move system. Mine will be in Kentucky next year!
Then Rocker won't have to worry about me stealing his air!

I thought about a shoebox being I have a oil less compressor in my basement and one in my garage both capable of running a shoebox but the portability of the unit was my issue also, I felt it would be easier just to move the AV Compressor then the shoebox and compressor.
I had thought of running a air line from my basement through my heat duct to my computer room and have the shoebox set up there that way the compressor would stay in the basement and would be less noise upstairs, so ya I gave it some thought before I ordered my AV comp.
When I get my new property all set up with power/sewer and water I might move the AV compressor out to my camper and still do the shoebox at home so then I have both areas/propertys covered, see what next summer brings, right now I'm running my camper off solar and I have a 4000/3000 watt generator out there.
