This one is a Sky Viper 2400HD. Maybe I should have bought a smaller (motel room sized), cheaper unit to start but it is fun. Getting it trimmed to auto hover was most of the battle. That part is getting there slow but sure.

That part is getting there slow but sure.Jeff I own about 7 of these buggers and the Sky Viper is a decent one for a big box store drone, the 1700 was the first one I bought. Once you get comfortable with it take the prop protectors off of it and you will be surprised how much more agile it is. The 2400hd is a bit big for Motel room flying though!! For indoor look into the JJRC H36. It can be had complete with several batteries for about $30 or less and is tough as nails and a blast to fly in small spaces.Gipper

Things like furniture (chairs, tables, lamps etc.) affect the flight of these things. Room stuff sets up air vortexes and moves the drone around a lot. It make hovering quite difficult.
