I own 3 Gamos and like all three. I have the Whisper Fusion and ACCU177 in .177 and the Swarm in .22. I have the Whisper Fusion set up with a UTG Hunter 3-9X32 scope and have been able to hit a 3½" long Vole at 35 yards! Both the Whisper and the ACCU177 are very accurate. The Swarm is fun to shoot just because you don't have to load a pellet for each shot, but accuracy is no where near as good as the other two. Now, having said that, the only one I paid more than $100 for was the Swarm, and that was still heavily discounted when I bought it. But, if it is in as good of condition as he says, it might not be a bad deal, but, I'd still offer him $90 and see if he bites!

But new ones are in the 199 range. I understand his frustration. Try selling an older screw gun or tablesaw. Cheap chinese imports have killed the resale market. I even told him that. I had 3 circular saws I would never use, (free to me), after not selling them I bumped into a gent about 25 -28 who was trying to start up a business while he had a fuill time job, and had a family. I gave him the better of the three and a back up and a few other non salable tools, scew gun hand saws. . He was quite flabbergasted. I then found a taker for other one , again a "kid" trying to do side work to pay the rent. I have seen working table saws put out on bulk day by my home.
