I recently purchased a CV Life 3-9x56 1/2" Tube, and a Bug Buster 3-9x32 scope about double the price of the CV Life, I was going to torture test the CV on a springer, but have decided it will make a decent crossbow scope.
I did mount it on My Hatsan AT 44 for a few mags of shooting , glass seems good , and the adjustments work well. The reticle is rather large for long range precision shooting , guess it would be an ok close range scope. And seems rugged enough to hold up to a springer, except the included rings are rather light weight and would not, the bug buster is all rugged rings and all, and a nice fine wire reticle, and I know they hold up to heave springers. I would say the best budget scope , though I have not tried one yet , is the Hammers with the one piece mount vs. the CV Life.

I just bought my second bug buster 3x9x32 with the sunshade and qr rings. Love the scope. It's light and can focus down to 3 yards. I'm going to try to stretch it out on my AirForce Talon to make it a 10 feet to 100 yard gun. Think this little scope is just the ticket...love it.
