Theres really no other new pumpers to compare, But i sincerely doubt anyone would claim the new pumpers are better assembled.. Bob thanks for the numbers. Almost all the powerful pumper builds ive seen use an upgraded linkage.. I dont recall what you used on the millenium , maybe it was the mac 1 billet?
The 17 people that would actually buy a 2k$ pumper would not cover the cost to design and retool for it. That is likely the biggest hurdle companies have in bringing out newer and better rifles in general.
