I also don't think that .20 cal pellets will become obsolete anytime soon. There are WAY too many .20 cal guns still out there, even if there aren't a ton of models being made currently. you guys know how to reverse the trend right? buy more new .20 cal guns. Manufacturers wouldn't have stopped selling .20 cal, if consumers hadn't stopped buying them. At one point in the not to distant past, there was quite a diversity of .20 cal gun and pellet offerings. In fact As I just posted on another gate. If I were to buy a new springer, it would definitely be a Beeman R9 in .20 cal. no question.
those are some great looking groups. I've been tempted to get a scope and cycle it through all my benjamins and sheridans just to see how good they can really shoot. I can generally keep 5 shots within a quarter at 17.5 yards with the peep sight, but I'm sure that most of the spread is coming from me. at that distance the target dot is the same diameter as the top of the front sight, so its hard to hold it at exactly the same position for every shot.
If they made a gas rammed Model 95 .20 cal, I'd have to seriously consider buying one.
Tough to beat the 13.73g JSBs. The 11.42g H&N FTTs sound interesting with premise of having a flatter trajectory. I ordered a tin just to try them. But every rifle is different & your mileage may vary.
