I've seen a few posts where people have stuck lasers, home made peeps, and red/green dot sights on an 880. If I could do what you're doing with open sights I'd take off my junker Hatsan 3-9x in a heartbeat

In order;
Hatsan 125 (in pieces since new in 2015)
Daisy 880 - on my 3rd
RWS Diana 34 (long, sad story)
Remington Express .22 (bad piston seal)
Daisy 415 (x2) - gave away
Daisy 408 - holds CO2 if bulb tip is teflon wrapped
Crosman 1377 - very accurate
Ruger Air Hawk - jury still out
Beeman 0035 (eBay sellers uck)
XISICO XS60C in .177
Crosman 760's X2 - parts ordered...
Crosman 2260
Dang, didn't realize I had (had) this many!
