They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

I made it all out of stuff I had laying around and only have about an hour invested in everything.
None of it is really heavy duty but I'll only be shooting them with my 2100 on 5 pumps max and maybe my blue streak on 4 pumps max.
The rectangles and little spinner are made from an old length of 1x1/16 mild steel stock and the bigger spinner is of course made from the thickest old spoon I could find in the drawer.
The spacer material for the spinners are cut from an old bb gun barrel, so I guess that would make the rod diameter 4.5mm.
I don't know why the spoon took the fluorescent orange paint better than the other stuff, but I guess I need to start using a white base coat.

Thanks.
The best part about the design of the little plates is that they only require a hacksaw file and pliers.
They'd probably look more professional with a welded on base, but this slit and bend method is so much quicker and easier. I came up with this method originally when I made a couple of little gallery style ducks which I've since misplaced, but it's easy enough to make little animals like the typical ram, chicken...ect instead of just a rectangle.

I would never have thought to use an old barrel for spacers.

I would never have thought to use an old barrel for spacers.
It was laying around and happened to be a perfect fit.
BTW the rod I used for the frames actually just showed up in my front yard one day, I was picking up before mowing and there it was.
People are always throwing stuff in my font yard, usually it's just candy wrappers and beer cans but I don't mind when it's something useful like this.
