I topped this rifle off with a BKL 1-piece adjustable mount.
QuoteI topped this rifle off with a BKL 1-piece adjustable mount.Steve, can you post the part number for the BKL mount?Thank you so much, I am going with the same scope you have on your Pro Sport.
Steve, thank you so very much for your response.I will stick with your advice.
Welcome back Steve. That is a beautiful chunk of wood that makes a beautiful Pro Sport, but.....not as pretty as my Pro Sport!! Your articles are always very enjoyable to read and I always learn something from them! Stay with us this 2nd time around!
Steve, I am leaning heavily on a Pro Sport.177 as my next gun purchase, is there any thing I should be concerned about with the new gun?I would hate to send it off and have it disassembled before I shoot it, but, if that is what needs to be done with it, I will.
I had to return mine, John Thomas ( John in PA ) called me and gave me the BAD NEWS!!! The comp tube was a mess the buttons were not correct and the pin for the cocking arm was stripped out and held in with Blue Locktite, not coll for an $800 Gun!!! Contacted Ruth at PA and immediately she contacted John with a return code, I chose not to go with the PS again. I opted the TX200HC .177 instead. I have the TX200HC .22 so I know that it's a great platform. Broke my HEART but I'll be ok with my decision. I love that gun in .22 I know in .177 she will be another great gun!! I feel real disappointed about the Pros Sport. But, I'm extremely happy with Ruth at PA 👍🏽 Take care fellas

I know that Nitrocrshr had issues with comp tubes on several occasions with ProSports. I'm not hearing good things about the AA S510 PCP these days either. There is no excuse for this kind of quality from an $800-$1200 rifle, especially being an air rifle. My guess is that airgunners' in general are moving away from Springers, moving to PCP's, the market is shifting, sales are down for Springers (that is for "good" Springers), and the manufacturers are focusing on the PCP side of business. Personally, once I started shooting my Wolf, and other higher-end PCP's, I can NEVER go back to shooting a Springer. I don't hunt, I am a benchrest/target shooter.Pappy
