I know I'm really New here but my Dad and I are always talking about a day long shoot. We used to enjoy shooting at an old friend of my Dad's in Algonquin. I really know that it would be such a memorable experience for him and I and we can get to know all the other airgun enthusiasts in the area. I'll keep the date and hope for the best. I would have to figure out what to bring for the feast!
I too am pretty new here myself and hate to just invite myself... but I'd definitely love to take the 8 hour drive from Nebraska to meet some folks. Also I think I can come up with a simple shower frame with some PVC piping and stagehand ingenuity.
Brian & Ramses,Brian and Mrs. you. are welcome to attend We look forward to meeting both of you.Ramses that is a long drive, I hope that you will have enough enjoyment to make it worth your while. Your PVC enclosure would be very welcome. You are the first out of state shooter to express interest. You are welcome to camp. The is a small older motel about 7 miles away in Greenup. Other motels are in Effingham and Mattoon. We look forward to meeting you.BobH.

Besides after being a Stagehand traveling is no big deal, I've gone farther for less haha. Also if I do go I'll definitely be camping, Lola (my mutt) wouldn't have it any other way, that is if dogs are also welcome...
Ramses,My wife, Lilly and I have had several discussions about having dogs at the shoot. There is a local that might be attending, so far he has not brought his ill tempered mutt to our property. If he stops by and sees your pet, he will hastily go and retrieve his ankle biter. So to avoid conflict with a neighbor, We would much prefer that you leave your pet at home.Respectfully,BobH.
SWMBO and I had dinner last night with Mobilemail and Bree last night - good food and good time. May have talked my wife into coming for a camping outing, but she "needs" electric. What choices are there for close by campgrounds?

Oh, an I still have those three large campaign signs that hold four 8 1/2-11" targets each.Bob, do you know the names of the closest motels? I'm thinking about that instead too, but I have to ask Nicki.
I wonder if Nicki would also like to know how close you're going to be to R Arms Innovations :-)
