Back Room / Re: Good morning! Are you up yet? What's your plans for today?« Last post by avator on Today at 12:55:59 PM »Plans change quickly... well, at least they get interrupted quickly....
I was happy doing airgun stuff. Heck, I even considered doing a little "lubing" to myself today.... got the Flash out and even got through 2 fills on it..... Enter Betty Lou..... complaining about the yard needing mowed. I have know idea why, I can still see the sky over top of it. That's when it all went to h3ll in a handbasket... The mower wouldn't start.... crankety crankey crankety... no start. Anxiety and frustration set in.. I don't have the money for a new mower. So I came in and sat down in IT for a bit. I went back out and started diagnosis.... Spark.. check. Gas.. check. Pulled the hose off the carb side of the fuel pump and cranked it... dry as a bone. Fuel filter plugged up. Changed that out, cranked it and it fired right up. So now I'm going to pull the fuel tank and flush it out but the important thing is.... Betty Lou is happy now. Back to airguns. 92

Mommy bird was in the area checking up on it too. Pretty neat. The last time I looked, Texas didn't issue a license for birds to fly. And what exactly , I wonder, is the age that a young bird can apply? Ron 93

Once I punch a hole in the paper I use that for the bull, trying to stack pellets! LOL 94

In the same context, you now have to accept the fact that your once astute go-to AG tech has now gone senile when he suggests giving the same bubble bath treatment to your springer 95
Air Gun Gate / Re: What airgun related did you do today?« Last post by Whirligig on Today at 12:10:23 PM »Sighted one of my "Diana" p-five's in using 7.87-grain H&N Excite Hammer pellets, which are becoming one of my favorite low-powered air pistol pellets. They were $6.99/500 for a while on Amazon, but now they're an absurd $14.49.
After getting over the p-five's low power and heavy (but short) trigger's second stage, I now think that it is actually a cool low-effort, accurate, and fun little aluminum can popper. It's currently $62.36 on Amazon. The pistol looks and feels like a "shoot it until something breaks, and then throw it away and buy another one" design. I'd describe it as the Beeman P17 of spring-piston air pistols, which I actually consider to be pretty high praise. -W 96

I'm suppose to spray some quicker slicker on our 14 year old shepherd and brush her out so it won't be as bad grooming her tomorrow. It seems like you can brush on her all day long. Fill a trash 🗑️ with her fur and she's still needs to be brushed.😡 I love German shepherds but I don't think we'll ever get another one. She was a rescue and was so skinny when she came to us. Turned out she's a EPI dog.
