has daisy changed the 901?

I received my 901 today from daisy, its not like my old one. my old one had the left receiver and stock one piece and was very tight. the one they sent has a two piece receiver and the stock is seperate and is held on by a screw on each side of the receiver.  too late to call daisy but does anyone know if they changed the design? the stock and receiver molded together was tough but this one may not take alot pumping pressure unless i hold at the top of the receiver. thanks

While I do not know, I am interested to find out as well as I am learning as much about the Daisy guns as I can.
