Daisy 880 Trigger

I've had a Daisy 880 for about about a year and it has a very smooth action and easy trigger. Just bought another 880, but the trigger on this one is a tough pull...which makes it difficult to be accurate.
QUESTION: Is there any way to reduce the pull on this trigger?

I took my gun apart (be careful, pieces can go everywhere) and cleaned my trigger, added a little grease on the sliding bits, and it was much smoother. I have never seen a trigger spring or kit for the 880, so I don't know how much you could lighten the pull.

You can help it some. Polish the trigger hammer engagement surfaces. You can file a few thousandths off of the hook on the trigger but don't get carried away, it needs to have some travel or you mess up the function of the safety and disconnect.

Thanks Cloud 9 and Pistolero. I appreciate the tips. It's amazingly accurate for a little $40 gun!
