Daisy 853 stock

Will a Daisy 853 Avanti fit into a Daisy 753 stock?  If so, does anyone know a part number and approximate cost of a 753 Avanti stock? 

I loves my CMP 853's accuracy, its junior stock LOP, not so much.  Suggestions....please.

I think ALL the x53 stocks (753, 853, 953) have the same 12 inch LoP.
But yes the 853 action will fit into the 753s stock.
You can call Daisy customer service for the part number and price. 
I am going to take a wild guess at $60 for the stock.

However, there are stocks with longer LoP than 12 inches.  I have an 853 stock with a 13 inch LoP.  But I have not seen any listing for a stock with a different LoP.  So how mine got into the system, I have no idea.  If you call Daisy customer service, you might ask about a stock with a longer LoP.  Who knows, they might have one, just not listed in the parts diagram.

You can probably fashion a good looking spacer from a piece of 2x4 easy enuff.

My 753 parts list shows 65.00 for the stock.  My 753 had a set of spacers to add to the butt.  Effective.....but ugly.

Should fit fine on the 853.

I just threw mine away about a month ago after having it sit under my bed for 2 years.......figures.  I would have given it away.

Yep, I just got an e-mail  from Daisy saying all X53's have the same Lop.  So, it's DIY time for the stock.

Biggest difference in the 753 and 853 stocks is the pistol grip.  753 has almost vertical pistol grip.  These stocks came with a set of three black spacers to lengthen the LOP.  Looks bad but works, I have thought about putting a rubber shoulder boot on mine to help appearances.  There was a daisy stock on one of these boards for sale not to long ago.

853's are available in Regular stock & Monte Carlo stock.
Monte Carlo grip is more vertical.

The 953s stock is a plastic version of the 753s wood stock.
The 853CM is the 853 action in the plastic stock of the 953.

I've got the two plastic spacers and as was said above, they are UGLY.  I can make a one piece wooden extension that will look like it was done on purpose even if it's a contrasting wood.  You know, 'kinda' like a fore end tip except on the butt.
