It sounds like a "Blaaat!" Seriously, there is a bit more reverb and longer vibration than I expected. Mine is a refurb, in otherwise great condition, and I may just be too concerned about things I shouldn't as I am getting adjusted to this new rifle. Otherwise, it's a beauty. I had some concerns with accuracy, then cleaned out some nastiness from the piston head with a q-tip, and things seem much better tonight.
I am hoping that my new TX 200 will do well for me in the upcoming matches. It is in .22 but is under the US FT 20 FPE limit (16.45 fpe) and seems to do well with CP Box pellets. I do NOT use straps but do use a shooting jacket from Creedmore Sports. Anyone else shooting open springer???
Enjoy the learning experience and don't get too hung up on your score, just attempt to do better each time you shoot. LOL.....like I often say "if the prize money were more the score MIGHT matter".
