For the past two-three weeks I have been touching on TX200 #3 (the free one in walnut).
It didn’t want to cock very well.
Scott (Motörhead) said the piston rod had to be adjusted and he was right.
So, this morning I took TX200 #2 (beech) out for a few to be ready for my 50% at FT on Sunday.
I finished with the playing cards at 9.5 yards, 8X, standing, offhand in the garage.
I didn’t cut any but I came close.

Looks like fun! I've never tried on edge cards. May have to give it a go one of these days. I'm trying to negotiate a TX200 myself, in the meantime I have fun with my ProSport. I introduced it to a fellow enthusiast the other day. He was unaware of the higher end spring piston rifles and was quite surprised at the smoothness and quietness of the shot cycle.
What pellets are you launching from that rifle?

I'm a peaceful man and prefer the pursuit of peaceful sports. Those involving teams and balls of any sort tend to be deleterious to one's body and promote violence by both spectators and participants. The shooting sports, however, tend to promote self control and are peaceably participated in by those who know that their greatest challenge is their need to continually hone their own abilities.

That's a couple of ft lbs above factory specs. After market spring? Tune?

I do not know Paul.
I bought this rifle 2nd hand (it was very new) hand and it was used very little.
It was purchased originally from AOA who may have juiced it up a bit.
My other two, with AA FAC rebuild kits, shoot at 13.5 fpe with the same pellet.
But, TX#1 (2013) was bought from PA and for a few years it shot at 16fpe.
I suspect PA & AOA are juicing these rifles up to challenge the HW magnum rifles.
IMHO

I'm fascinated by the TX200's. I chose the ProSport as it's a similar powerplant but more compact and really enjoy it. Just got off the phone with a fellow I'm working a deal with on a TX200 MkIII. Once we manage to get the details worked out and I take possession the experimenting will commence. In the meantime I'm enjoying seeing how things work out for others. I'll probably leave it at the 12 FPE level, but have a few springs in hand that should allow for excursions into higher power levels. All it takes is time and a bit of elbow grease!
