Ron, seeing how nice the birch looks after sanding has me thinking I might have to refinish the stock on the 753 I just bought! I wasn't too keen on the look of the stain on it, but the adjustable cheek riser and nicer recoil pad is what sold me on getting it. Waiting on shipping now. Can't wait to get it in my hands and see how the finish actually looks! But I'm thinking some sanding is probably going to be part of the plan for it at some point...
The stain looks good in the above pic, but not so much in other areas like in the pic below...

curious what the typical fps are for your three girls - are they all around the 500fps mark?
They range from 483 to 532 fps.Ron
