Revisiting the Recluse

I've often thought about owning a big bore but it was always more of a whim than a need.
I wouldn't even think about one unless I had a mold to cast my own lead.

 Back when I bought it, it was my dive into the PCP rabbit hole, I started with some of the AV slugs and round balls, but decided if I want good big bore ammo I had to make my own, so to say I put a leg in both rabbit holes, but to save $ and get accuracy.
 I figured I might as well go big or stay in the basement

Exactly.... it would pretty much be a novelty thing for me because I really have no purpose for anything that big. The experience would be fun to have but it would most likely eventually go to fund some other flavor of the day and I would typically lose money on it.

 Did some number stuff on Chairgun, printed out the holds for both the Recluse and AEA Challenger .303 Next outing I will be checking and tweaking the scope some. The AEA is going to be more of a challenge as it is scoped with a THOR Lt thermal, with recital choices to explore.

 Well time and weather have put this on hold, now I am looking at setting up my Wing Shot with a Turkey load for the upcoming spring turkey season, now that WI allows airguns.

I look into the wing shot 1 and 2 now and then but never have handled one.  How do you have it set up for turkey?

I will need to test different loads of shot to see pattern and down range power. There are much better air shotguns out now though.

Curious about the power ranges you have to work with.  What are some of the current air shotguns that catch your eye?

 Well my spring Turkey season has been over for a week now, the bird that kept out smarting me got hit by a truck  a couple days ago LOL.
 SO time to get back on this project along with the AEA and the thermal setup, if the squirrel will leave me alone
