HUNTING FOOTAGE – GAMO – ATN – HUNTER’S SUPPLY – Freezer Filler

I again took my Gamo TC-45, the ATN THOR 4, and Hunter’s Supply 520 grain cast pellets back in the woods! Why? I’ve found this trio to be extremely successful! If you know me, you know I can’t get enough! I love to hunt and deer especially, this time just about anything goes! It’s nearing the end of hunting season and freezers need to be filled! With only small deer and an occasional grown doe appearing during legal shooting hours, I made the decision to take whatever came out, excluding of course small spotted ones. The sun was going down and I was beginning to believe it was another sit session without meat. As I began to make the decision to call it, I heard footsteps in the water off to my right. Sure enough it was one of the smaller does that had been coming occasionally. As she came out the woods to the corn, she was at an angle so I chose the shot placement (no time to wait for her to change positions) she must have made me, she stomped her foot and I took the shot!
