3D printing will no doubt be what keeps some of these airguns operational in the future. Metal printing will become available to the masses just as poly printing is today.

One problem is material selection.
The ribbed bores need to be flexible enough to allow the pellet to push thru, but the clip body needs to be rigid enough
to allow the mag to be pushed thru the receiver.
I have had several runs printed that are either too hard or too flexy....
The overall height and the indexing notches are also difficult to get right, and the 3D printing
process seems to lack the precision needed to produce usable parts......

Time and technology will progress and inevitably bring about solutions once deemed unobtainable.

I've printed several single shot trays that work great, the multiple shot trays require "tuning" lightly sand the pellet recesses until the pellets push through with slight resistance, i.e. cannot be easily shaken out but will push through with the probe without deforming the pellet.  The ones that I have printed all fit well, just needed tuning for pellet fit. I used ASA (UV stable material similar to ABS).  I have thought about drilling them a hair over sized and brushing on Plasti Dip paint until the fit was perfect.  Printed parts definitely have their place but are not good solutions for some things, such as trigger guards.  The thin interface flanges are too delicate when printed.  Printed parts can be machined, sanded, tapped, etc.... also.  I obviously prefer metal and wood but some times printing is the only and/or best solution.  3D printed parts can also be used to create molds for epoxy or for sand molds for casting aluminum parts.  3D printing is rarely a good solution for small parts, although I have used polycarbonate for prints that result in some amazingly strong small delicate parts.  I may try a trigger guard from carbon fiber polycarbonate in the future because it has the possibility of being strong enough where as ABS and PLA do not.

Bringing this old thread back because I still haven't picked up any 5 shot clips for it. I dug the gun out of the moth balls this week and I was wondering if any of you guys are 3D printing any good ones that I may be able to purchase.
A couple would be great.
I see Paul has them on Thingyverse but I don't have a printer.

I have files that produce dimensionnally decent parts.
That's the EZ part.......

Material selection is the difficult part.
Materials tried so far were either too hard to permit pellets to pass thru, or
too flimsy/flexible to feed into the receiver properly.

Each bore needs to have ribs to retain the pellets, but need to allow the pellets to pass thru when pushed by the bolt.

The indexing notches are also tricky features......
Printed clips require a bunch of handwork......

Well that's a bum deal. Reckon I'll have to just continue single loading.
