Have them on several center fire rifles. Great for those. Haven't used them on any air guns.

Hi Bryan... I have a set of the XTR Sig rings. Not sure if that's the product you're looking at. Side note...The cross-bar fits a picatinny dimensioned slot but not a Weaver.
This is definitely not a recoiling gun but I use the scope as a cocking handle. These lock-on and stay put... extremely solid...

I have a couple of the Burris Extreme Signature (6 screws) on powder burners. Built like a tank (and heavy). The Zee are much smaller but should work fine on an airgun.
BTW, moved the thread to the Optics child gate.

For a Springer, I like the one piece sportsmatch mounts. Just the regular version with one screw per side on the top straps and arrestor pin. They don't move when you shoot a lot with a Springer. They have funky recoil. Most of the two piece mounts just might. And the one piece mounts take some of the stress away from the scope tube. Check out Tawnado on line, usually $30 or so for the one piece.

Asking specifically about the Zee because of the potential adjustment for droop. With the roght arrangement of inserts, you shoud be able to compensate for even the worst amount of droop. If they hold up to the whiplash of a springer they would be perfect for a breakbarrel. Plus, less chance of scope tube damage.
I figured by now more would have experience with them in a spring gun.

I had them on a Benjamin Legacy and they worked just fine.
