Thanks all. So much good information. Sometimes you go on a board as a new person and people either do what they can to make you feel dumb or they're not so free with sharing info. I should have guessed the hunters and country folk would be different.
I bought this one & love it. Fly
I recently bought a Bushnell Optics Drop Zone 2-7x32 on Amazon for $78.78 in their warehouse deals section. They are normally $100. I haven't mounted it yet but my main reason for buying was that it has side focus. While I like lower powers for offhand shooting they have a 3-9x40 and a 4.5-18x40 for under $120 if your shooting off sticks or a rest.2-7x323-9x404.5-18x40These aren't springer rated and I don't know if they'll focus as close as 10 yards. They look quality and I've never had a crappy Bushnell.Sometimes MidwayUSA has some nice BSA tactical scopes on special and the prices drop to under $100. I bought 2 6-24x44 with side focus for $89 each if I remember correctly. Those do focus at 10 yards and work great. Glass is not Nikon or Zeiss quality but I think it's more than adequate for our uses. Thanks,Taso
With your $100, you can get 3 of these...got 2 for my PCPs
Thanks for that ChapoChoo.Their US distributor is 30 miles away. Need to check that out!
I'm a self proclaimed scope snob, but I really love the Hawke 2-7x32 AO mildot scope for under $100. Clearest glass and finest reticle I've found in the price range stated.
