Lol my bud skinned em n grilled em 🍖. First ever squirrel I hit was center mass with jsb hades and it limped away🤦♂️ (Big one, also 40 yards) its been headshots ever since. The hades don't even expand at that distance anyways.
Calm wind is 3 pellets touching and 1 flier at 100 yards on great day
I have one of the first.177 Swarms. Now it's a single shot with a steel spring and a 10oz GTR trigger. Tac driver. Got a Hatsan Proxima now.Heavier pellets will help with the noise. Learn to use both hands to cock.

QuoteCalm wind is 3 pellets touching and 1 flier at 100 yards on great day"GREAT DAY" indeed! You better buy a lottery ticket. 100 yards with a springer is unobtainable for most shooters... let alone someone who is new to airguns with a mid level gun.I am going to chime in a bit here because I read where the gun was DRY FIRED repeatedly.Stop doing that...it is no way to judge how it will sound when actually shooting a pellet. It will damage your gun , if it hasn't already. If your Gamo is still under warranty, I say return it. and try another or something else.I see them listed for about $300-$350... you have many choices in that price range. Now that you are a member of GTA, you will see many other options and advise that you may not have had before. [/quote Exactly never dry fire. I hate when I accidentally dry fire mine and yes mybad it was 2 pellets touching 1 almost touching..still great group.. on a great day..Here's the UNEDITED video of 100 yards 2 shots touching with Gamo swarm magnum g2. GREAT DAYyoutu.be/d8xspW2uvdoyoutu.be/d8xspW2uvdoyoutu.be/d8xspW2uvdoAnd the pic of this Video... SORT YOUR PELLETS AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT THE DIFFERENCE IT CAN MAKE.
'Cuz they ain't made in Spain anymore...
Quote from: egd on February 06, 2021, 01:00:39 PM I have the swarm fusion gen2. It's not all that quiet either, although I suspect it's probably quieter than the magnum. Although one thing to consider is the noise you hear when shooting it is different than the noise someone will hear standing several feet away I think. I haven't had a chance to test this by having someone else fire it while I listened though. My fusion isn't too bad to cock, but I'm sure it's easier than a magnum.Yes, according to the specs from Gamo the Fusion cocking effort is listed at 30lbs while my Magnum is listed at 41lbs.I measured the actual effort on mine and it's consistently 55lbs to 58lbs so unless they just lie about the effort there might be something wrong with mine.I lift and carry 5 gallon water jugs frequently (41 lbs) and that would be manageable. Nearer 60 lbs gets difficult with damaged shoulders!
