If it shoots straight I'll be interested. Dont' really care for the look of the ambi stock. :-\
Also at $ 650 your near AA 410/510 range...A proven rifle.

Hammer Forged Barrel ? This will be interesting.
Appears shroud "does not" screw up against receiver. This could be good.
AirScopes:
I believe the hammer forged barrels are a trademark of Cometa. I have and shot a fusion before I started selling them, and really like other products I sell -- I sell them because I like them. The fusion is my best rifle, and I have some 20 springers and got rid of another 10 (RWS 48, RWS 350, among them). I have faith that the delay in shipping the Cometa Lynx was so they would get it right.
I think the stock is designed with the Cometa vision in mind. The ones I have seen have beautiful walnut of the highest degree. It is a lot like BSA models, Evanix, Falcon... those PCPs with a bottle. I think they are also taking all they can from exisiting guns. A super-looking thing, I think, that I can hand off to both my left-handed friends, and the ones with a psychological need for symmetry.
You sound a little down on it Patton...Sorry that you are. Very hard to draw a conclusion without shooting one. it promises a lot, but it is a Cometa... I love their guns and they have been making small arms in the town in Spain since the 16th century... Tradition mixed with modern technology... my guess is it is a winner.

I like this gun. Roughly how much will this gun cost me?
