converted my 760 to rifled barrel....heres how!
mav72:
Neat! I'm thinking of putting a "pellet only" barrel on my 766 and my idea is very similar to what you've done...
I flipped and modded a 1377 barrel to fit on my 760 last year because the smooth bore was so bad (grape fruit groups). The best I've done was 3 pellets in the same hole at 10 meters... I haven't been shooting my 760 since I broke the pellet cartridge and shipping isn't worth getting them online..

heres the update...ill be short and brief!
my m417's plastics started falling apart, very brittle.
so i put the m417's internals into the 760 frame, installed longer bolt probe, barrel weight and cheap 4x32 scope.
result...dime slayer at 10 yards with cphp's...havent tried oyher rounds yet.
all the m417 parts were drop in/bolt up.
had to drill 2 1/8th holes in the pump arm to attach the 760 pump handle.
i call it the m47
only needs a bipod and folding stock for me to be really happy.
maybe a under barrel light aswell.....my new rat killer....lol.

That's a neat looking gun... Perfect for rats... Here's an old pic of mine... I may get a new one and replace some of the worn parts..
