As Summer envelops Florida, even hardy residents bug out for some vacation travel.   Match turnouts tend to be a little thinner.   This month's edition of the Summer Swelter Benchrest Series brought out 5 competitors.  Conditions were relatively comfortable with temps starting off in the high 70's with tolerable humidity.   Not much wind.  The occasional light puffs were welcome.  Overall, conditions were conducive to some good scores.  

TOP GUN recognition was won by Bill S.  Bill's bench shooting  has been coming on strong for several months.   He scored a single Perfect Card (250 pts.) in our April 14th  benchrest event.   

Bill almost doubled that achievement today!   He was perfect on his second target card.   Unfortunately he missed scoring another perfect card in his relay by a single point on his third card.  Bill was also our X-Prize winner bagging an impressive 39 Bulls in his 3-card relay.  [246 pts 14X    250 pts. 13X     249 pts   12X]  Some Fine Shooting Bill !

Next installment in our Summer Swelter Benchrest Series will be held Sunday August 11.   Till then -  Stay Cool.
