Shout Out to Airgun Capital
Rat Sniper (AKA: PaulT58):
I wanted to give a shout out to the great Customer Service I received from Sebastian at Airgun Capital today! One year ago today (May3, 2023) I purchased one of their Airgun Suppressors to try. I tried it on a couple different airguns and then it ended up in my safe where it sat for the better part of the last year.
I pulled it out this morning, along with a couple other suppressors I wanted to try on my FX DRS. Well, the first shot after installing it on the DRS blew the end off and sent all the baffles sailing into the back yard! I thought, WTH, and went to gather up the parts scattered across the yard. That's when I discovered the end of the main cylinder had failed and completely separated from the rest of the body of the cylinder! This is a pretty stout suppressor! The wall of that cylinder are all of ¼" thick, so the 940FPS the DRS produces shouldn't have been a problem.
Thinking, well, it has been a year, probably not much I can do about it at this point, but I did want to let Airgun Capital know about the failure just so they were aware. I sent a e-mail to them with the attached photo at 11:55am CST, literally 2 minutes later at 11:57am CST, I received a reply from Sebastian letting me know he would be sending me a new, upgraded, aluminum suppressor to replace it! WOW! I don't think you can get any better Customer Service than that!
So, a HUGE Thank You to Sebastian and the Airgun Capital Crew for their OUTSTANDING support! :D

Looks like it came unglued. The locator pins are still there on the blown off end.

It busted right off, there was no glue. Those holes you see are where the ends of the screws go. It has small brass nuts molded into the plastic, they were still holding strong! I did remove the 3 screws that hold the end cap on and am glueing that end back on with some super glue gel, but I don't have much hope it will hold! I'll give it 48 hours to cure and will try it and see if it holds!
Back_Roads:
I will be waiting on our report on the report of the new Airgun Capital metal suppressors, I was about to buy one, then did a trade here for a Donny FL Sumo, that does a decent job on the DRS. But still never hurts to have another :)
Rat Sniper (AKA: PaulT58):
The new suppressor arrived a couple days ago, I was out of town and just got back yesterday. I really like the new design. I was thinking of using it on my FX DRS, but it’s a tad too small in the overall diameter, so it looks odd, but the diameter is perfect for my Crown! I replaced the Huma-Air MOD30 I had on the Crown with the new Airgun Capital suppressor and it’s now stacking pellets hole in hole! It’s a tad louder than the Huma-Aor suppressor, but I’ll take the tighter groups over a decibel or two!
Below is a picture of a 3 shot group. These are JTS 18.1 grain pellets shot at 35 yards. The other picture is the Airgun Capital suppressor installed on the Crown.
