Long Lasting BB Trap Spinning Target

(1/2) > >>

hallwoo:
using a spent 12 gm co2 cartridge drilled in center with 3/16 hole  and mounted on the middle of target holding bar

tape the ends of co2 bulb with orange duct tape  so it's highly visible

lots of fun to shoot at   and U can recycle the BBs   using a  Gordon flex handle  magnetic  pickup

I use the lids of  food cans   removed by an electric cordless can opener   and velcroed to spinning bulb  when shooting from the hip  using co2 bb pistol

I can hit the target 50% of the time

also lots of fun

I can't quite picture this in my mind.
Do you have a photo?

I use old pellet tins by drilling a hole on one edge and slipping it over a hole matching rod.
A dowel rod could also be used. I tape around the tin to avoid it from coming apart, which it will if
hit enough times.

will get U a PIX next time I replace the bulb spinning target

don't waste those pellet tins for holding springs and other small gun parts  when replacing the  internal o-rings and seals  on airguns

save those electric can opened   food lids  for targets

I all ready do save the lids. Especially the pull tops. They have a built in hanger loop.

When you shoot enough pellets eventually you've got more empty tins than you know what to do with and they do make great targets.
Especially the Crosman tins which already have a bullseye on them.
I have multiple plastic drawer parts / hardware organizers anyways so I don't really need a bunch of loose tins full of parts.
Btw I don't shoot BB's at steel because of ricochets, I'm not saying you can't but I just don't do it.
If I'm shooting empty co2 cartridges it's with pellets.
