I did & saw almost no gains/losses. The bolt pulls back way easier & smoother though.
This is on a DF2 in .22.

I wonder if they changed the hammer spring on the newer production guns. BTW, anyone know of a video on fixing/ modding a DF2 for a newbie? Mine is losing air at the pump valve and I can tear it apart, but probably can’t put it back together, lol! Thanks

 I had mentioned as my work load declined I would get into my DF2 and document with photos the proses, so this will be next up on my work bench, as soon as I can find my bench again.

LOL.... When I opened up and cleaned out the Red Shed it didn't take long to clutter up the workbench. Guess what I did? I built another workbench... now I have 4 workbenches.   :o
